Thank you for your interest in our curbside pickup service. Please follow the steps below to take advantage of this new service!
- Place items on hold that you would like to pick up. The best way to do so is using our online catalog. You may also call or email (staff@hlpl.org) to request items be held.
- When the items are ready, you will receive a notice by either email, text, or phone (depending on your preference) that you have items waiting for you. If the items were available, this will likely occur within 1-2 days. If the held items were checked out, you will need to wait until the items are returned.
- Head to the library to pickup your items. Make sure you bring your library card with you! Curbside pickup is currently available Mon-Fri: 10AM-5PM. Parking spots will be designated for pickup near the staff entrance. Once you’ve arrived, have your library card ready and either:
- Call the library (989.366.9230), selecting the prompts for curbside pickup. OR
- Text your library card number to the library (989.366.9230).
- A library employee will be out in a few minutes with your items!
