Battle of the Books Kickoff

CANCELLED FOR JANUARY 13

***IMPORTANT BATTLE OF THE BOOKS UPDATE***

Due to the incoming weather, our Kickoff for Saturday the 13th will be cancelled. Here is is the plan going forward:

*Rather than rescheduling again, Coaches can come in and pick up their team book sets at any time, and confirm their team name and participants.

*If your child is participating but does not have a coach or a team, please call the library at 989.366.9230 so we can make arrangements to get them on a team.

*If you are unfamiliar with the rules or procedures of BOB, we are happy to schedule one on one times to go over them with you. This can also be done over the phone if you are unable to make it in to the Library.

*Please make sure that all participants KNOW the rules. Rules are included in the Coaches packet, and it is your responsibility to know them. Again, we are happy to schedule a time to go over them with you, or to answer any questions.

*Teams can stop in to the Library at any time to design their team logo. Teams can also submit a logo they have worked on outside of the Library as long as it fits in an 8in. X 8in. square.

*Please make sure to include the number of shirts and sizes that will need to be made for your team. Available sizes are Youth S-L, and Adult S-XXL. Each child can get one shirt, as well as coaches (up to two coaches per team).

*If you have not turned in a registration for yet, it MUST be turned in by 5:00pm on Friday the 20th.

*In addition to the team book sets, the Library has ordered in additional books that can be checked out (one per team member, not including coaches).
